A small idea born from a big problem
Every day, millions of Indians receive fake messages, "Your KYC is pending," "Claim your refund," "Tap this QR to win."
These scams don't arrive from one place. They appear in SMS, RCS, WhatsApp and Telegram notification previews, links, QR codes and suspicious calls.
We built RakshaLink as an extra verification layer for these moments, while keeping routine scam analysis on the user's device.
Privacy first, always
RakshaLink checks the notification previews already shown by supported apps. It does not request SMS, contacts or call-log permission, and Notification Access does not reveal full chat history.
Routine scam detection runs on-device. Notification message text is not uploaded for cloud scanning; optional feedback is shared only when a user chooses to submit it and is redacted first.
Multi-channel protection made simple
Scammers don't stick to one platform, so neither do we.
Depending on the protection features enabled, RakshaLink can check:

🔹 Text a user submits through Paste & Check or Android's Share menu
🔹 Payment and web QR codes checked inside the app
🔹 Suspicious activity visible during a user-started Suspicious Call SOS session
Many routine checks work without sending the content to a server. Some supporting services, such as updates and optional reporting, still require connectivity.
What made it possible
Our focus from day one was to keep RakshaLink lightweight, private, and fast.
The app uses optimized on-device AI and curated heuristics trained on thousands of verified scam patterns.
This lets the app warn about scam-shaped content before a user acts in many supported scenarios. No detector is perfect, so every result should be verified through an official channel when money, OTPs, personal information, remote access or legal threats are involved.
